Black Birds Flying in the Dead of Night... or is it Falling Dead at Night???

There is a song like that... just in case the humor was lost on you!

Anyway back to the birds...  WTF (what the hell or something similar...)  is going on in Arkansas?  Oh it's not just Arkansas... F me!  Fish too?  OMG  When does the Mayan Calender end? So we have a year?  Is it a sign?
In the town of Beebe up to 5,000 blackbirds fell from the sky just before midnight on New Year's eve as well as deaths of 80,000 to 100,000  fish found floating in the Arkansas River (they are not sure on the exact number because they don't count that well in Arkansas) about 160 kilometers (100 miles) away. Nancy Ledbetter at the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission "We still don't believe the (fish and bird deaths) are related," she said.

Just a STRANGE Coincidence?  Unrelated mass deaths of thousands of animals.  The blackbirds were seen perched at around noontime earlier New Year's Eve, perched in trees in large numbers by an eye witness.  Really an eye witness account 12 hours prior to the deaths... DID THE "EYE WITNESS" POSITIVELY ID ALL 5,000 BIRDS???

Bottom line was Nancy says the results of the necropsy show the birds
suffered acute trauma which she attributes to them flying into chimneys and houses.  Another strange fact, blackbirds don't fly at night.  I WOULD LOOK FOR A FOOD CHAIN LINK between THE FISH & THE BIRDS....  AND  I think, having fallen 40 feet myself the physical trauma occurred  WHEN THEY HIT THE GROUND...
